Mom's Trip to Palm Springs

Stephanie invited us to to her house in Palm Springs for mom's trip! I debated on going since I had Beyonce tickets for Saturday night. I ended up just going for a night and drove back with Jenn and Gretchen. I am seriously so glad I went! I met these momma's almost four years ago and we have established the best friendship. We had so much fun in the pool and then went out on the town for dinner. Then we had the best dance party back at the house! Angela made us a yummy breakfast and we were headed back to LA. Jenn will be moving to San Fran as some of the mommies have so we are sad about this. I hope our friendships remain as our kids get older and our lives get busier! 

Spring Break 2011

Saturday: Wine Tasting in Temecula with the Pattison's! We missed John and Michele they were at a wedding, but we added a newbie Nicole Moon. That night we celebrated Mom P's birthday.

Sunday: Easter Mass, then Easter Brunch at Aunt Tina's. Dad bought us beautiful Coach wallets this year. He is so sweet! Then we went to Vero and Paul's for dinner.



Monday: We bought all our paint from Sherwin Williams. We prepped the living room for Dennis to handle the job while I am gone.

Tuesday: Palm Springs her we go!!! Lisa and I drove out together and checked in at the Riviera. We went to Las Casuelas for dinner. I miss my hubby but he is painting up a storm at home!



Wednesday: Went to Cabazon in the morning. Then lounged by the pool all day. Had a nice italian dinner! I had an amazing time with my buddy! She rocks.

Thursday: Home! I love my paint colors!!!! My kitchen is a beautiful blue and the living area is beautiful beige. Mom P arrived 2 minutes after I did so we went shopping, shopping, shopping! We had a great day and found 3 dresses! She took me out to a yummy lunch at Corner Bakery and delish dinner at Rocky Cola. Then we went to hang out with Michele!



Friday: Awesome breakfast at Tammy's with Mom P and my hubby. Then Bruce the Electrician came over and D and him worked so hard! I did laundry and cleaned up all day!

Saturday: Drove to Yucaipa to buy Pottery barn dressers...and they were the wrong color. Booo. Still bought them for a steal! Then we met up with J and M to watch the UFC fight at the underground.

Sunday: Drove to Anaheim to drop off Jimmy's truck then hung out at the house while D painted the mantle. We went to church and to Yanagi for Sushi.

OMG!! time just flew by. I am so excited that it's warming up for Summer. It's May 1st and now it's time to get my butt into shape.

Palm Springs Round #2

Spent an awesome Saturday with Lisa, Alli and her friend in Palm Springs! We lounged poolside and enjoyed a nice Italian dinner!

5 Year Anniversary

This year marked the big 5 year anniversary for Dennis and I. After weeks of talking about where to go and what to see we finally decided that Palm Springs would be a nice getaway. We booked at the Palm Springs Riviera Hotel and we were very pleased! We arrived early Saturday morning and just lounged by the pool all day. We had a few cocktails and made some nice friends from Huntington Beach. After that we took a nap in the room and then woke starving. We went to dinner at Las Casuelas which was fun because of the live band. They even played our wedding song! That night we hung out at the hotel lounge with the couple we met. The next day we had an awesome breakfast that was included in the room. We hung out in the pool for a little longer then we checked out. We made a stop at Cabazon Outlets and shoppped for a while. We then got back on the road and stopped in Riverside. It brought back so many memories. We went to the village cruised through campus and then stopped at The Newman Center. Being at the Newman Center I just pictured my whole family there and being so nervous the day of our wedding. We drove to Murrieta after that where we had dinner with my favorite in-laws.

I am so blessed to be married to an amzing man. He is so caring and kind, he is smart and handsome and I love every bit of him. He makes me a better person and I hope I do the same for him. We have been discussing our plans for the future and we both are soo ready for kids. Last year were talked about it and I still had doubts and now that is all I think about. It's so funny how people say "you will know when you are ready," and now I get it. I am so happy and I feel so blessed already that it does make me a little nervous to change anything but I think God has a plan for all of us. Until next year!
