Ojai for Merve's Graduation Party

Dennis I drove up to Ojai to celebrate Merve's graduation and his new job at Ojai High School. Merve is the most humble yet positive person I know. He is a simple man and loves his family so much. His smile and laugh are so genuine and I know that God will bless him and Laura with so much. He accepted a special education position and I cant think of a better person for the job. I was so glad to toast in his honor.

John's USC Graduation

Congrats to by bro in law John for finishing his MBA at Marshall! Watching D go through the program I know how much time, effort and cash goes into it. It is also extremely difficult for the wives or girlfriends! Having to share time with school is not fun so shout out to Michele for being so supportive to him. John was lucky enough to be given some awesome gifts too. An awesome watch from Michele, a margarita maker from Mom and Dad P, and some best buy gift cards from his future in-laws. We bought him his diploma frame. We all went to his ceremony and then celebrated in Pasadena. The next morning we visited there new place and went to breakfast.

D Graduates

I can’t believe today is finally here….Dennis is done with school!!! I don’t think I can imagine what life will be like with Dennis out of school. For the past 4 years he has been studying, reading, writing and stressing! It all started with his applications shortly after we got married in 2005. He was accepted into UCI’s program and was there for 1 year. The commute from Brentwood to Irvine was killing him so he applied to transfer to USC he was accepted. None of his classes transferred so all of the money and time was wasted away. It was worth but then three more years at the Marshall School of Business. He made great friends at USC which eventually became my friends. We have enjoyed going to social events but especially the tailgating before football games. I really must say that I enjoyed him being at school when we were having fun but there were the times where I just wished he had more time for me, for our friends and family. Dennis always had something to do for school, so even on vacation he brought along his school books. He often had to miss friends and family parties because of his deadlines. I became so used to it that after a while it just became part of my expectations. He has worked so hard and I am so impressed with his dedication. He has learned so much and he now has a new job because of his MBA! He has a bright future and I am so so proud of him!
Congratulations Dennis! I love you!
