Monday: Rest day and D’s gift

Today I really just needed to relax after going non stop for the past few weeks. I was really thinking about how time goes by so fast. I really can’t believe I am back from Europe, and Dennis is almost graduating. Today we did it…the time piece purchased! Stay tuned!

Tuesday: AP Review, lunch with Mami and Jimmy, and MB with Lisa

AP review I really can’t stand teaching this class, I love the kids hate that I have to cram them with so much information. I can’t wait until the test is donzo!

After review I met up with my Mami and Jimmy for lunch at our favorite place the Fish Company. It was great to see me little/big bro since he was at a tournament in Wisconsin for Easter.

Lisa came to visit for girls night out. We went to Manhattan Beach Brew for dinner which was yummy. After a few drinks there we headed to Shell Backs for another. Mike the Pilot guy tried to chat with us but we were very annoyed. We went to the Side Door for a few martini’s and ended at North End with a few more where we ended up meeting the King’s players. Ofcourse Lisa would recognize them.. We had so much fun laughing and chatting it up. This last year I have grown close to Lisa and I have discovered that she is a true gem. She is not easy to get close to as she has a hard shell and always seems to be battling someone or something, a coach’s mistake, administration oversights, parents complaining..she plays by the rules and expects others around her to do the same. She works hard and is dedicated and gets frustrated when others do not do the same. I get her now, and I have come to love the person she is! She is so loyal, honest and caring. She listens and does not judge and I know that I can count on her. I witnessed her true friendship after Woody passed away. Her and I worked hours and spent our own money to prepare for Woody’s gathering and scholarship. This again showed me how giving and thoughtful she is. After it was all over I was attacked for no good reason. Well she stood up for me when everyone else just watched, and she then solved the problem. She is a strong woman and some might mistake that trait. I have not. She has a great sense of humor and won’t back down! I realize that she is a friend that I always want to have on my team.

Wednesday: Shopping For the Photo Shoot with mom and sisters and nieces. We were all going crazy trying to find the perfect outfits. We went with a Ralph Lauren theme...spring colors!

Thursday: Dennis sick/ plimber came to fix sink, and laundry day.

Friday: I really don't remember.

It was great having this time off although I never feel like I have enough time to spend with my friends or family.
