Brenda and Sean get Married in Lido!!

Thursday: We left LA around 10am. Dennis and I had a great car ride up, no traffic, good conversation and only two stops. We arrived in Lodi around 4pm. We decided to stop at one of the wineries before checking into the hotel. Abundance winery is a cute little place with some decent wines. We had the tasting room to ourselves...but outside there was a huge family. We found out it was a funeral reception. Life is good and we get little reminders of this all the time.

After checking in at Wine and Roses we met up with Karla and Froy and headed into the town for a nice dinner. My parents said they were going to the rehearsal dinner. Rosewood was a perfect setting for a great dinner...then the parentals decided to join us! We gave my dad wrong directions so he was pretty mad about that. Dinner turned out just fine but I was ready for some more wine! We decided to hang in Karla and Froy's suite. We bought some beers and we chatted and laughed for hours! Over all great night.

Friday Day
We woke up early and went to a delicious breakfast at the dancing fox. After that we all headed to Michael Day winery. It was absolutely gorgeous! We walked the farm and then watched as the boys played corn hole. We then did a little wine tasting then my parents decided to eat lunch. Since i ordered an appetizer I sat with them for a little while. Then we all sat on the patio to talk. We returned to the hotel and walked the grounds. We ended up at the pool which was gorgeous. Froy actually jumped in! Then it was time to get ready for the wedding.


The wedding was beautiful. The garden ceremony looked so romantic. My cousins and their little girls were so beautiful in their bridesmaid dresses. Finally when Brenda walked down the aisle we were all stunned with how amazing she looked! I can't my believe my cousin Brenda was getting married!!!

The Pastor did a great job personalizing the sermon. After the ceremony we had a short cocktail hour. It was so great seeing all my San Francisco cousins, and Aunts and Uncles.

Then we headed in to the reception. I have to say the food at the reception was soo delicious. Wedding food is usually not that good but I was blown away by the filet! The couple shared a sweetheart table and you could just see how happy they were!

We danced the night away and even got to do some cousin shots. By the end of the night Brenda was falling from all the whiskey she drank. We all knew that would not make for a fun night with Sean!! hahah. We all had an amazing time at her wedding. Brenda had soo many beautiful details, like a cute candy bar, a wish tree, and even personalized cocktail sticks! Our wedding gift was an ice cream scooper which was a symbol of their first date. I am soo happy for Sean and Brenda!


Saturday morning we all went to breakfast! I was so excited the my Tias and cousins showed up as well. We got to chat for a little while so it made breakfast really nice. Especially since my dad was getting on my last nerve since he was being his normal bossy and rude self. While my sister seemed to think it was ok to tell my hubs that I am a major stress case...I may have seemed that way since she can be really high maintenance at restaurants. I may have snapped at her at breakfast since Dennis had given my a bit of grief the day before for not paying attention to him among other things. With our fights the night before and that morning, add my dad, and sister to the equation I was pretty over the family vacation. I love my family but vacations are meant to be relaxing and the last day was not..hahaha.
