22-23 weeks

I'm feeling under the weather. I'm achy and my throat hurts. It's tough getting sick when your preggers because you are so limited on medicine. Ironically today I had a doctors appointment to check on my baby girl. I was totally excited to listen to little Micki's heart beat. When I went in Dr Kaleb put the sound machine on my left lower tummy and there she was. Her heart pumping like a cho cho train. She weighs about a pound now and you can see it in my belly. I still feel pretty good. My only symptom is major heart burn. I take tums and it totally helps though. My sternum sometimes quivers and I'm not sure why. I think I'm just growing all over. Dennis has been amazing talking to the baby regularly and kissing my belly. He is the sweetest! He has been a little stressed out with work because although they offered him a promotion he did not receive the offer that he hoped for. The dentist even told him he needs to take b12 because if the little ulcers in his mouth. He is such an amazing husband and I try to tell him it will all work out and not to worry. He really wants me to stay home longer with the baby and with all the bills it might be hard to do that. We are so blessed in so many ways that I want him to forget about money. I know Dennis though and he likes to have everything so planned out. The unknown is hard for him. We will see what the future holds...honestly I can't wait to hold the future!
