Casa Gomez Baby Shower

My mami did not really want to throw me a shower...she would rather buy me everything I need instead of asking others to buy me gifts. I told her I would handle everything if she simply made the food. Honestly all I wanted was to get together with my Tia's and cousins for some fun girl time. I started coordinating a little with Karla we put it all together in 2 weeks. Invites and all! Wendy was super sweet to make some cute treats so we decided to go with those colors. I spent two weeks buying junk...haha see's pops,plates, napkins, table clothes, and soaps for prizes... I ordered some decor online and coconut pineapple cake at Susie Cakes (purchased by my sissy's). My sisters were in charge of appetizers and games. Which was perfect. That day was pretty chaotic since the party was suppose to be on the patio...but a massive storm cam in and the party moved to the living room. Karla and I scrambled to set-up and the boys even helped. Kitty showed up 10 before show time and still had to make her fruit salad. hahaha. It turned out looking pretty cute and quickly everyone arrived. I was so excited that ALL my Tia's came!! I seriously couldn't stop crying at first. I had so much fun playing games but especially hearing all of their advice. They all bought me such nice things. The only hilarious part is that my dad participated in the shower...hahaha. He did not want to leave even though we told him a million times! My mother-in law and sister in law came as well...I hoped they would not be overwhelmed with my loud Tia's haha. It turned out to be so fun and I my sister's did a great job organizing the games! Thanks to my sissy's and Mom for a wonderful afternoon. I know my mom was so glad we all got together!
