LBC Girls Shower

I have been so lucky to become friends with such an amazing group of girls. Its been a couple years now that I've been joining my co-workers for a girls night once a month. I have seen how much they take care of each other and support each other. Of course there is the occasional misunderstanding but through it all the groups remains strong! I have loved watching the group grow with baby arrivals! Brookie, Luella, Max, Olive and Grace were all born while I was getting closer to the girls. I love how each mommy parents different but the one thing they all have in common is how much they love and care about their kiddos! I love asking them questions and they always have the best answers! Some funny too. Charla gave me pregnancy clothes which I'm sure was shared with a few others...while Cora has non stop given me tons of baby clothes and other goodies for my baby girl! Charla called me on saturday morning in March and said " I want to host a shower for you...when can you do it!" I was seriously beyond flattered and felt so special that she would want to that for me. She said she had talked to some of the girls and they all would help! We decided on Cinco de Mayo theme...and I was so so excited! The day of the shower we had such an amazing day! I know Charla, her brother and Lisa worked so hard to get everything together. All the girls brought the food stuff. I cant even believe how awesome everything looked...every little detail was adorable...the blocks on tables had cute messages, the big colored lanterns, the candy table and even a funny picture of a woman nursing hahah. The best part was being with all of these ladies I am so happy to call my friends. We ate lunch then the girls gave me advice! Sure some was a little negative but I love to hear it all! Doesn't mean I will take all of it...I just like that everyone keeps it real! hahah. we played some funny games that Lisa came prepared with. They all bought me adorable gifts which was beyond sweet of them! I had such a beautiful day. I almost feel guilty with how much I have been given throughout this pregnancy. I am so blessed!
