You are 4 Months

Dear Micaela,

Your 4th month of life was so amazing for all of us! You are in tune with everything and everyone. Right at the beginning of the month you started to roll onto your tummy. You were so determined to do it and now you are especially good at rolling in your sleep. You love sleeping on your tummy now.We have established some good bedtime routines which you love! Bath, book, and massage and the I nurse you to sleep. You pretty much sleep the whole night through and then wake up at about 5am.  Daddy gets up everyday to change your diaper and to chat with you before he goes to work. If I come into to change your diaper you give me so much attitude..you cry and scream. Mostly because you know the milk machine (as Daddy calls me) is there and you want to eat! You go back to sleep after a good feed and them wake up around 9am. You now hang out in your jumper...which you love. Daddy says you look like a mad scientist pushing all the buttons. You still hate napping in your crib and would much rather nap on mommy. Seriously the minute I lay you on the mattress you open your eyes cry or smile. Although I LOVE having your little body on me but sometimes I need to eat and shower but I can't. I know how important your sleep is so sometime I forgo those things to sit in the rocking chair with you. I use my Iphone a ton and read about how to be a better mommy...oh and go on facebook and instagram!  I worry because I know that I will start work soon and Abuelita wont be able to comfort you like that. We usually go for a walk or run some errands then wait for Daddy to get home. When he finally arrives he comes in soo anxious and excited to see you. You immediately give him a huge smile and he washes his hands then picks you up! You guys chase me around the house and play peek-a-boo. You laugh so much and Daddy laughs right with you. Then it's time for a bath again.  You scream with grandpas and really whenever there are lots of people in the room. You are very picky about who you like around. I sometimes feel bad when you cry so much for you Abuelito because he loves you so so much. They shouldnt take it personal because you still such a baby. This month mommy had thrush but you showed no symptoms in your mouth only your booty was a little red.You are the the smartest little girl. You want to grab everything and we have to be careful becuse you can pull our plate right off the table. You still love your feet and everything goes straight to your mouth. This month we finally started taking you out to eat with us. Daddy says he taught you to hold your bibi...that keeps you happy when we are out and about. You still love your bjorn and Daddy loves to wear you. Mommy tried to sleep train your this month and went to the Sleep Easy Solution class. You are relentless and ended up losing your voice so I quit! hahaha. You are my heart and soul and I cant stand being away from you. I am going to work next month and I cry so much thinking about how I will be away from you. Daddy got a promotion at Bank of America so we want to move to be closer to our jobs so that we can come home earlier from work. You are such a beautiful little girl and Daddy and I are so in love with you. Happy 4 months and I cant wait to see what 5 months will bring!
