Spring Break 2014
San Diego Fun:
Wednesday drove to San Diego. Pit stop in Carlsbad. Arrive at Hyatt Regency Mission Bay. Micki loved it! Ran up and down. We had seperate areas so napping was easy for her. That night we went to Sea Port Village for dinner. Came back Dennis and Micki took a bath which was the only way to get her in the big bath tub. While she slept we watched a movie. She did wake up at 2am crying, she leaked from her diaper so Dennis changed her and we snuggled a bit and then she asked for her crib!

Thursday: We went to Eienstein's bagels for breakfast. Micaela had a blast feeding the birds haha. It was too funny. Then my inlaws met us at the hotel. We went to Sea World which was interesting. Everything takes so long to do since Micki just takes off running and with a big group it's hard to keep everyone together. The highlight was feeding the mantarays, the One Ocean show and the flamingo Vip that my mom in law got for her shirt. We took Micki back for a nap and inlaws stayed at Sea World while we enjoyed a nice lunch in the room. We went back for a little bit and fed the Sea Lions and saw the turtles and sharks. We came back at to the hotel and enjoyed cocktails as a family at the pool lounge! It was so fun.

Friday: We woke up to a windy day so the pool was out of the question. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at the hotel resturant called the Red Marlin. Micki was so good. Then we hung out the room and then headed home. We stopped at Stone Brewery per D's request. We enjoyed the grounds and then ate lunch there. We headed to mu inlaws where we hung out. We then went to a fun sushi dinner with all of the cousins! Saturday we went to the Apple store to buy all my school stuff then ate lunch as a family then headed back to my moms. Dennis went to go check on the house.
It was so nice to vacation as a family alone for the first time. I wasnt breastfeeding or stressed over Micaela's nap schedule. I loved being together and will always remember our fun Spring Break!
