Christmas 2014

Gomez Christmas: Since all of the schedules are so crazy and since my mom would be off to Punta Mita on the 26th we celebrated on the Sunday before. We enjoyed posole and all of the kids got to open presents. Micaela was so happy to be with her cousins.

Pattison Christmas:
We drove out on the 24th and sat in some good traffic since we did not get on the fast track thanks to Micaela. She told she had to go to the bathroom!  We arrived at my inlaws and John met us there. We hung out for a bit then headed to eat dinner at Aunt Tina's. The VanAukers were not there since they had just arrived from Ohio but would  join us the next day. It was so fun opening presents with Micki...she was so excited and her Uncle John had her chanting "Open that gift, Open that gift!" The cutest was when she opened up a little squirrel Aunt Sandy gave her she said..."Wow I've always wanted a rat" haha.  We went home and left Santa cookies and Milk. We then left Micaela sleeping and D, John and I went to midnight mass.

Christmas morning: Micaela woke up so so excited. "Mommy did Santa Claus come?" Yes! We went out and she got to open her scooter!! She had been asking for a scooter for at least 3 months so she wast so so excited!! Then we opened up all the gifts. She got so many cute things but she especially loved her Elsa from her Uncle J. We went through all of our gifts and we got so may cute things. The big ones were Dennis got a watch and I got awesome purse. Dennis bought me the cutest Tori Burch flats! 

In the afternoon the whole family came over for dinner! We were so happy to see Flynn and trade gifts with them. We played games and later that night the cousins played poker.

We all spent a few days there...We went out to celebrate Karlas birthday in Temecula. The guys went to the Holiday Bowl to watch SC on the 27th.

On the 27th at night Micaela got very sick. She was up all night crying with pain. We took her to Dr the next day and she had an ear infection. Poor baby! We finally made it back to Redondo after our extended stay. Dennis painted our room then got super sick! He got a really bad sinus infection.

We had such a nice Christmas minus Micki getting sick. We are so so lucky to have such an amazing family.
