Busy Friday

Friday was a busy day. We woke to eat a nice breakfast with J and M and Mrs. P. After she mentioned she was a little bummed about her surgery we needed to comfort her. I wanted to go look for my watch that Dennis suggested I should get for my birthday. John and Michele also wanted to shop Macy’s so we headed out, but Mrs. P did not really want to come. I was so excited to try on some watches on at Ben Bridges, and already loved some that were way out of our price range. Needless to say Dennis actually believed I was ready to buy a watch without consulting him and was pretty upset. I was really just fake negotiating with the sales guy...boy I must have been convincing! I guess the only good part was when I looked in the mirror and caught J and M trying measuring rings on!
That afternoon we went to the Alvarado’s house where we celebrated my nephew Paulie’s birthday. He is such a big boy and I am amazed that he is already 14 years old. It was great spending time with my sisters and the kids.
That night we drove straight to Lakewood High for some football! It was a great game and we are headed to the semi-finals…..next week...WHAT????!! NOT ON MY PARTY DAY! That kind of crushed my night because I was really looking forward to having all of my work buddies at my party.
It was great to finally get home to Hermosa Beach and prepare for a long Saturday of USC Football!
