Give Thanks...or Thanksgiving!

Thursday morning I decided to go to the gym, I figured it was the only way I could justify loading my plate up with carbs!! I ran into David a high school friend who was actually my ex-boyfriend's best friend. It was nice to see he was doing well, and he mentioned he had not talked to my ex in years. The drive back home to my in-laws was very reflective. I realized how blessed I am to have met Dennis and married such a wonderful, supportive man. I was reminded that God has a plan for me, and everyone for that matter. After Dennis whipped up his gourmet mac'n'cheese we headed over to Aunt Tina's. It was great seeing little Flynn,Laura and Merve.
I really can't believe the little guy is 1! It was a sad without my father in law but I am sure he was having a blast in England and Ireland. Dinner was great and shortly after Mich and John arriced. We chatted up more and then I decided it was time to go visit my family. Dennis did not really want to leave and although I told him I did not care if he went with my to my Tia Glorias I ofcourse would have loved for hime to go. When I arrived I was a little emotional as my family is so affectionate and immediately made me feel like the night was complete with my arival. The Perez family was wild..as usual. I saw all of my family except for my sissy Vero (boy did I miss her cooking!) I called her on the drive home and talked about spending time together on Friday. I am so blessed to have an amazing family and extended family. I can't wait until next Thanksgiving..
