D calls me 4th period and…he got the Bank of America offer!!!! This was such great news! It is for the Global Commercial Banking position, which he has been explaining to me in great detail. He has yet to decide exactly what he wants to. Ken (d’s immediate boss) just got terminated on Monday and he is actually enjoying going to work now. So much for him to think about, but I am so proud of him!
As if that wasn’t enough good news, during lunch I received this e-mail..
Congratulations! You have successfully passed the Comprehensive Exam for the Master of Arts in Education, Educational Administration; you took on November 14, 2009. Your official letter is in the mail.
YEAH!!! I can’t believe I am done!!! (Well except for the take home final due next week.) To quote my husband…“The future is so bright for us we have to wear shades!!!”
That afternoon more great news… Mom P ankle replacement surgery went very well and she will be out tomorrow!
That evening Charla and Dan hosted the girls of the LBC, and the hubby’s to a great dinner. I was bummed that D could not make it but that would not stop me from joining in the fun..plus I had so much to celebrate! It was such a good night; we all laughed away and ate an awesome meal prepared by all of us! The girls always put me in such great spirits, it was actually cool having the guys there. As Charla had said we ended up splitting by the end of the night. The girls were so sweet as they sang me happy birthday and gave me the best gifts! Check this out.. I got an awesome candle, delish wine, a pimped out blog, and little wedding photo book….I am so excited!!! I did not want to leave and I even thought about sleeping in Char’s spare bedroom! I knew I had to get home to Congratulate D…I ended up getting home at about 9:30pm.
What an amazing day…I am so blessed!
