I cant believe they make you wait until you are at least 7 weeks to go into the dr. I thought this was suppose to be the most crucial developmental time? I made an appointment as soon as I could and I could not wait to see what Dr Kaleb had to say. I started reading lots and even looking for maternity clothes. D was not able to make this appointment because he had a major presentation at work thrown on him last minute. He wanted me to reschedule but honestly the baby is priority and I wanted to make sure he/she is in there.
When I arrived at the appointment I was super nervous...it still seems a little unreal to me. Dr Kaleb was excited to see me as I was to see her. She has been my dr since I got married and I always talked about getting pregnant. haha. Well little did I know Dennis and I did not have to try too long. We are so blessed.
When she put the jelly on my belly and then ran the ultra sound I nearly died. She said "There is your baby." I can honestly say I had no idea what I was looking at but I was overwhelmed with emotion so I cried..of course! She got a little teary eyed too. She told me she would see me in a few weeks and to hold off on telling family and friends as it's still so soon.
I am soo excited to send Dennis the pictures of our baby!! What a journey this will be. The only thing in our lives that will tie us together forever!!! Ahhh I am soo excited!!!
