Telling my In-Laws and Our Siblings our Secret!

We have been dying to tell his parents that they have their first grandbaby on the way. I made little onsies and we thought that would be cute to surprise them. We were chatting in the kitchen and we were telling them about our trip to Lodi. We told them we bought them matching gifts from the wineries and they had to open them up at the same time. They did and they held the onsies up...and stared they were honestly speechless for a bit then it clicked! Mom P yelled..."Really!" Then we all hugged and got teary eyed. haha. It was soo fun to see their reaction!They tool us to dinnner to celebrate to Lazy Dog Cafe. We talked names and other baby stuff.



The next day Karla and Froy invited us over for breakfast and we knew that would be our chance. They made us delicious bluberry pancakes and coffee (I have not had caffeine since I found out) haha. So we chatted and played with the kids. Then after we all finsihed eating I gave my sister her gift. She opened it...she instintly started crying and saying "Oh my gosh!!!" Froy was so happy too..he also teared up and gave me the biggest hug! I know they will be so supportive since they know how hard it is to be a parent.



Then we were off to tell Vero and the Boys. She invited us over for her delcious pesto pasta. After we all ate...We hung out for a little while and then I gave Vero her gift. She opened it and had such an awesome reaction! She yelled and started crying!! Paul was so happy too! The only person that was not there was Paulie since he was at his explorer class. We gave him the onsie to open just for fun..I will never forget my nephews "Ohhhhh" then his giggle! He was so surprised it was adorable! It was time to head home.



On the way home Dennis was adamant about going to tell John and Michele. He did not want it to leak on facebook or have his brother find out any other way other than by him! I wanted to wait because I have cute USC bottles that I thought would be funny for the waiter to bring out instead of beer. Oh well....we drove all the way to Pasadena and John was nice enough to go buy us dinner. We hung out at the apartment and talked up a storm. Dennis told me he wanted to actually tell John and Michele but it was taking him so long! We had been there an hour and he still had not said anything. Finally when Michele asked to see my new iphone (which has all my preggers apps on it) I told Dennis you have to tell them now. He said said "Well John and Michele we wanted to tell you that you are going to be an Aunt and Uncle" It took them a bit to process it...but then it clicked. hahaha They gave us hugs and were still a bit shocked. We stayed only a little longer then decided to head home.

Wow what a weekend filled with happiness and joy! I have a feeling that this little nugget is going to bring much more happiness. Now Im just dying to find out what it is!

My prediction: BOY. Dennis has all boys in his family. Plus Ive always pictured myself having a boy. haha
