G's World: You are 3 Months

Dear Micaela,

This month you are talking more than ever! Cooing to your Daddy when he says I love you... Or tells you to say ahhh goo. Your smiles still warm our heart everyday. This month you love eating your hands. We always have to take them out. You love to play on your gym.. You hit the little frog and watch the star shine while you kick and move around. This month we had to stop swaddling which made me very sad because you enjoy it. Daddy found you in your co sleeper facing down. You can turn to your side without your arms so no swaddling allowed! We have gone on a few more outings. You went to th Hermosa Pier with Auntie Lisa, Auntie Amanda and walked there in your stroller with mommy and daddy. We have also taken you to Pottery Barn, and Macy's. You cry a lot because you just want to be held we think you might be gassy. Daddy says you are a little sensitive like mommy. He also says you are very in tune with everything. He is right!You always fall asleep on mommys chest and want to nibble while you dream. I tried giving you a pacie but you instantly wake up. Your night time sleeping is great. Before bed we always bathe you, give you a good massage and then feed you. You fall asleep pretty quickly then I can lay you down. We try to have you in bed by 7-8pm and you wake up once at night. It's really awesome compared to before.

This month mommy took a night off and you stayed with Grandma, Grandpa and Daddy and you got really fussy! You went out more with mommy and daddy..Trader joes, Macy's, Target. Although we still have to get you out of car seat carrier. You are pretty nosy and dont want to miss a thing. So ofcourse you refuse to nap on the go like all the other little babies. At week 14 we went away for the weekend to Grandma Debi and Grandpa Mike's house..you did better than I ever imagined. We could have sworn you said I love you in one of the videos. hahah. You are right handed you use itthe most when hitting things. This month you are losing your hair a little. You scoot when we lay you down. You can tolerate tummy time long and and can hold your head up nicely. You gag your self with your little fingers and you drool a ton! The best part of this month was that you discovered your voice and you sing like an angel.

I cant believe you are past the official newborn age. I am so in love with you and so is your Daddy. He rushes home from work every day to see you and to give you a bath. He sometimes wants to wake you because he misses you so much. Thank you for making us smile everyday!!
