November..Procrastination is my Forte!

So my comprehensive exam was on November 14th and boy did I procrastinate!!
The first Sunday I bet the Long Beach Girls for drinks and brunch at Schooner or Laters for Becky's bday! What a great place to hang out and I of course loved being around the girls. This time Lisa even came along. Hardly any studying was accomplished!

The following week (Tuesday)I went on the annual Odyssey Field Trip to the IMAX and Science Center! I had so much fun with the kids, and love the America I Am exhibit on African Americans. Wednesday we had off and instead of studying I headed down to my mom's! Karla and my adorable nieces would be there and of course my little heart throb Jacob. We hung out all day and topped it off with dinner at the Fish Company!

Thursday was a packed day. I studied for a bit 6th period then after school at my mom's house. I headed over to Leo's last home game, then over to Corrin's for girls night! hahaha. I really couldn't miss it, the salad, the wine, the girl talk, all the things a girls needs once or twice a month..hehehe!

Friday was cram time! I took the day off and met my study buddy Natalia at the Library for some major case study action. We studied all day, writing out case after case, studying laws and the authors. I came home and more studying after more studying. After all this was it! I am all about binging and purging..when it comes to academic knowledge. Finally time to go to bed…I missed the Lakewood game (we won Moore League at Wilson) and I was going to miss the Stanford UCS game (We got killed 55 to 21..OUCH!).
Saturday…GAME TIME! I left extra early to pick some $Bucks and headed over to school, where I met up with my Cohort #20 buddies. We gave each other hugs and crammed a little bit before walking in. Then it was go time. The coordinator let us write down as much info on the bibliography from about 8 to 830am. Then test began….luckily I brought ear plugs because everyone’s clicking would have killed me!!! I have major ADHD. I did my best to get through the DATA question, and the 3 case studies. I remembered my laws and many quotes and over used both to support my answers. Finally the clock hit 12:30 and it was time to stop!
Cohort #20 was all outside and when I walked out we all game each other a group hug and decided to go celebrate to Chili’s! This was my e-mail to the group post test…

Randy, Shannon, Natalia, Todd James, Ken, Alida and I just finished taking the comps! Emotions ran high as well all walked out of the room and gave each other a big group hug! We decided to go to celebrate after and we reflected on our journey. We all shared how grateful we were to have such a great group that made on another laugh and just listened when we needed it most. We supported each other, we shared and cared (Care Bears, 1989). It was such a blessing to work with such an amazing group of professionals and just good people. I look forward to more celebrating...see you all at the reunion and hopefully at my party Dec 5th!! Georgina

It is not confirmed if I passed but I still feel AMAZING!!!
